BASIC RULES OF SAFE DRIVER BEHAVIOR – ONE-TIME AND SHORT-TERM ENTRANCES TO SLOVALCO<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Observe the maximum allowed speed of\u00a0<\/strong>motor vehicles on external roads\u00a020 km\/h<\/strong>;\u00a0in production halls and in the entire area of the scrap storage area only\u00a010 km\/h.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Persons and vehicles\u00a0may not enter\u00a0<\/strong>the Slovalco premises\u00a0without permission<\/strong>, nor move freely around the Slovalco premises and workplaces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Park vehicles in designated areas<\/strong>; wear seat belts in motor vehicles, and always drive with low beams.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. When walking,\u00a0<\/strong>walk on designated roads, footpaths, pedestrian crossings or use the left-hand edge of the road.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. Maintain a safe distance of at least 5 metres\u00a0<\/strong>from vehicles and material handling equipment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. It is forbidden to\u00a0bring and consume\u00a0<\/strong>alcoholic beverages and other psychotropic – narcotic substances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              1. Respect the instructions and warnings of\u00a0<\/strong>Slovalco employees and observe safety and traffic signs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  \n
                1. It is\u00a0forbidden to step on\u00a0<\/strong>the stored material (aluminium profiles, cuttings, …).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. It is forbidden to enter and carry out any activities in the scrap storage area<\/strong>\u00a0box\u00a0<\/strong>during any handling operation carried out in an adjacent box (unloading, removal, loading of material).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                      \n
                    1. During all material unloading operations\u00a0<\/strong>(from truck\/vehicle), the driver must ensure that no persons or vehicles are in the material handling area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                        \n
                      1. The truck driver must remain in the cabin of the vehicle\u00a0<\/strong>while the material is being unloaded by handling equipment. He\/she may only leave the cabin of the vehicle at the request of the scrap storage area operator (in particular to assist in unloading), provided that the specified safety principles and instructions of Slovalco personnel are observed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                          \n
                        1. Use prescribed\u00a0PPE\u00a0<\/strong>(long trousers and long-sleeved protective jacket, protective helmet, reflective vest, protective shoes).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                            \n
                          1. It is forbidden to\u00a0smoke\u00a0<\/strong>in all buildings and outdoor premises of Slovalco, except in designated and marked areas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                              \n
                            1. It is forbidden to\u00a0take out of\u00a0<\/strong>the premises of Slovalco any material without a valid permit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                \n
                              1. It is forbidden to\u00a0take photographs\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0use cameras on the premises of Slovalco<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                  \n
                                1. In the event of damage to health, leakage of dangerous substances or if you observe a dangerous situation or an accident, immediately inform the nearest Slovalco employee or call Slovalco emergency dispatch center +421 45 608 7272.<\/strong>
